My thought of the day

"The ones who were not in my past do not have the right to badmouth my present. For they were never there to pick me up when I fell infinite number of times to reach to my glorious present"

This is for the ones who keep cribbing about others' success while not paying heed to their own failures..people like them remain losers forever...come what may!!!

Need creates creativity

I don't know what will you all call it, but this is  a creative piece made for need. A creative mind can be anywhere and at any time but you need to have a NEED to be creative.
Here, she has a need of something to sleep on and hence she used the resources in the surroundings.
This is one incident i came across while training aa few college students. I gave them a lot of newspapers to make a building out of it without using staplers, glue or tapes. A group of students made a wind mill with those newspapers where a boy was holding the wheel of the wind mill with hands. I rejected it because their windmill wasn't an independent structure as they needed a person to hold the wheel. Here a NEED to win was created for them and they started thinking of some idea to solve this problem.
There was a sikh in this group who was having a pin in his turban which he instantly took out attached the wheel with the paper stick they had made. And then the wheel started rotating.. And so you see how NEED created CREATIVITY.
That is why it is said that necessity (NEED) is the mother of invention.

What say friends??

LET ME BE

Let me be

I shall reach the sky,
Only if you let me fly.
Let my thoughts soar,
I only ask for love
and nothing more.
I am a part of ‘you’
Not just any other guy.
I hope for my sake,
You will let me fly.

I am a separate soul,
With separate body and mind.
Have my own beliefs,
hopes and dreams,
I am my very own kind.
You want me to be someone,
You could not be! But why?
Let me explore the world my way,
At least let me try.
I shall reach the sky,
Only if you let me fly.

Let me have some wounds,
Let me fall down.
Let me learn to get up,
Let me feel the ground.
I am a new bird,
I have my own sky.
I have my own wings,
Just ‘help’ me fly.
I shall reach the sky,
Only if you let me fly.

I want to be,
Be my own self.
I want to know,
Know my own strengths.
I want to live,
Live my own dreams.
So, let me go high,
Let me please fly.
Oh maa, oh paa, don’t kill me,
I don’t want to die.
I shall reach the sky,

Only if you let me fly.

Power of words: Effect on humans and non-humans

We shall reach the sky, only if you let us fly!

Lovely pals!

This is one incident that was shared with me by two of my trainees in a training session. It is strange that both of them were from different locations but the incident was exactly same. And this is a perfect example of WHAT words can do. Now lets see what happened.

There was an apricot tree in front of a house that was not fruiting for a long time. Hence, one day the lady of the house told her son and daughter to do say a few words in front of the tree. She asked her son to just do the action of cutting the tree by raising the axe and say a few times "I shall cut this tree"  and the daughter had to say "No brother, please don't cut it, it will bear fruits soon".
To their surprise, the tree bore fruits the very next day.
Now, what will you call that?? and as it has already been told above that this happened at two different places. In villages, this is common practice when any tree doesn't bear fruit for long. Probably, they have realized the power of words.

Imagine, if the negative words can insult a TREE (quite strange but true) and then a faith of someone can help it bear fruits, what all these words can do to us! This is the power of words. The same way words affect us too. When somebody says some positive words to us, we get the power on the other hand, if we hear something negative about ourselves, yes! we do get disheartened; however we should always have the hope that someone must be having faith in us.

Let us learn from this beautiful story that harsh words shall not come out of our mouths. Especially for our kids, we must always encourage them with positive and powerful words. We must empower them by feeding them with positive thoughts and words.

The increasing rates in suicide cases of the children after their exam results is because they are being fed with the negative words. Why can't we tell them that they are special and whatever be the result, they shall always remain our loving kids. No matter what happens, we can't afford to lose them. CAN WE??
Let them be what they want to be. Just empower them to be. Let them grow.

Speak positive always. Remove the words Can't, won't, don't and problems from your life's dictionary. Tell them they can do it. Change the word problem to CHALLENGE. Let them face it and overmaster it.
Tell them they are the best.

Happy speaking!

Training enforcement officers on stress management

Hey friends, this is a training session with the enforcement officers on stress management. A very interesting session it was. A lot of learning was there.
Training is not about downloading stuff in the minds of the listeners. It has to have some practical uses. There is always a lot of scope of learning for the trainer too, as we come across people from all walks of life and then when we share their experiences in the classroom, it gives immense knowledge. This is because we all learn from books and internet but when we learn from experiences, that's what we call a true learning. What do you suggest?

Please do give the feedback
Happy sharing!
