Hello Folks,
There is something that intrigues me whenever I come across a case like this. A few months back, I heard a sad incident from one of my friends which went like this:
"There is a lady who lived alone in her house and his son was working some where out of the country. Once, when the son came back, he asked his mother to sell her property as he wished to take her with him. The mother was quite happy as she always wanted to reunite with his son (afterall a mother is a mother). She did the same as asked by her son. Son took the money and assured his mother that as soon as he makes all the arrangements of her living there, he would take her with him. Friends, will you believe, the mother's eyes are still waiting for her son, as he is no where to be contacted. And for her bread and butter she has turned into a beggar."
SHAMELESS! Isn't it? He tricked his MOTHER? How foolish he is as he does not know that he has tried to trick God. It is said that "As God could not be everywhere, he created Mother".
How can we ever think of repaying our parents, who have done so much for us. We can never judge what all they have done for us and what all they keep on doing till their last breath.
On this note, I would love to share a story with you all that goes like this:
"Once a son, who lived away from his mother to earn big money, came to see her and asked his mother to ask for anything in this world. For he thought he had become so capable of fulfilling the wishes of his mother that he could repay her all the love and sacrifice once and for all.
Mother stayed quite looking deeply into the eyes of her son whom she gave her all - her dreams, her love, her care, her blessings, her precious young years and never asked anything in return.
The son insisted to ask something so that he gives her what she wanted and could live his life peacefully never thinking about her and her wellbeing and her loneliness.
Mother said "Son, it has been so long that you spent a full day and a night telling me your stories. Therfore, I want you to sleep here on my bed tonight and thats it. You can move to your home tomorrow."
Son: What! Out of all in the world you want me sleep at your home for just one night. Ridiculous! I again tell you ask something more meaningful mother.
Mother: If only you can fulfill this wish of mine.
Son: Why would I have any problem doing so? I can sleep definitely sleep here.
At night, when the son was sleeping, mother threw a glaas of water on the bed where he was sleeping. He got up shocked and furoius. He yelled at his mother for pissing on the bed at this age.
Mother laughed and with sudden tears said "What all can you give me in this world when you can't give me full night? From where can you bring all the nights I spent when you pissed all over the bed and I slept on the wet side moving you to the dry one? From where can you buy me the nights when you were hurt and I was feeling the pain inside me, awake all night long looking after you? From where can you bring those nights when you suffered from high fever and the whole night I kept on keeping the wet cotton on your forehead and giving medicines to you? From where can you buy the nights when I breastfed you 10 times a night and more? This is just the calculations of the nights. Days are still left. Now tell me would you like to know the calculations of the days too?"
Son cried and could not speak a word
Friends, we can never ever think of repaying our parents. They are God's representatives. Never hurt them.
