Hey Folks,
The title of the post may seem a bit unusual as many must be thinking what is "being a friend". Why have I chosen this title is because what has been in all around is that everyone has friends, but have we ever pondered over who is our best friend. Oh! for this first we should know who is a best friend. In the words of people, there can be many definitions of friends. Some say, a friend is one who loves you unconditionally, some feel that a best friend always understands, the one who listens, one who advises, someone who knows your feelings, one who knows everything about you and much more. Now, let us see who can be all this, who understands, who cares, who loves you unconditionally, who helps you do everything, who is there in the good and bad times, whose company you enjoy the most and who is there with you ALL the time means ALL the time.
The one person who can be all this is the for all and that is God. In your heart of hearts try to find out that he is the only one who can remain with us all the time understanding our ins and outs, has been there in all ups and downs. Even our parents who love us the most can't be with us all the time. Let us think God as our best of friends.
We probably have yet not realized the power of God. We only take him in consideration when either we are facing a problem or when there is any need. Kabir saheb says "dukh me sumiran sab karen, sukh me kare na koye, jo sukh me sumiran kare, to dukh kahe ko hoye", which means, if you remember him in your good and happy times, you will never face the bad time and the sufferings. This happens when we learn to stay happy in all the conditions he keeps us in. He is one who knows what is the best for us and so is out best friend.
We cannot ever understand how he shows his friendship to us but as there are the radio waves not seen by us in this world, similarly this best friend of ours keeps sending signals and his love to us but we are not trying to see it. However, he still keeps on showering his never-ending love on us.
Some think he is our well wisher, some think he is our parent, some even deny his presence, some feel he is light and what not. But for me he is my best friend - always there with me NO MATTER WHAT.
